Ignition Interlock Limited License Becomes Law

Good news for all Pennsylvanians dealing with a loss of license because of a DUI or because of a refusal to submit to a chemical test: the new Ignition Interlock Limited License (“IILL”) is now law.

On Friday, PennDOT provided a plethora of information about the IILL. Generally speaking, the IILL allows people that have served half of a license suspension for a refusal or a conviction to begin driving again PROVIDED THAT they have an ignition interlock device installed in their vehicle.
